Every one favorite cloud storage app Dropbox new feature added photo and video import.
Dropbox added this new feature in its new “Experimental Forum Build 1.3.4” apps. As from now it allow user to automatically import their photos and videos from camera and other devices.
Dropbox import all the photos and videos from camera, phone or SD card when they were connected through computers. This feature is right now on beta testing stage and available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux x86_64, Linux x86. You can download this app through their official forum.
Things to remember while installing Dropbox new feature
- Photo import feature is not available on Mac 10.4 and Linux.
- Device connected to Mac 10.5 should be Read–only.
- For android device HTC sync will not work.
- If importing photos from iphone before that, unlock your phone otherwise it will show no photo error.
- If you were getting import error while importing from Mac and iPhone try to reset your device.
- In windows please enable Autoplay option as this feature relay on Autoplay only.
- For XP and vista users this service needs Windows Image Acquisition Service. If this service is not available then after starting the service reinstall Dropbox.
Most important “As this feature is right now on beta stage so it highly recommended that before upgrading to build 1.3.4 make back up of all your data”
This feature will make the mac more simpler and easy to use.
