Amazon world leading customer centric company, where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online at lowest price has started their service in India as “Junglee”.
Junglee.com (Amazon service)an online shopping service started on 2 February 2012 (still in beta stage), in first view site is having neat and clam theme with fast loading time. So, users don’t have to worry about their internet speed. It’s working well on slow speed too.
Basically Junglee is a market place where online and offline seller can sell their product and Amazon is working like a mediator for them or you can say sort of yellow pages where users will able to see product from different seller.
For example: if i want to buy laptop of HP then when i searched for HP laptop on junglee.com they are showing me HP product from different vendors like “Home shop 18, some private retailer shops, etc.” This means if i liked their product and want to buy, then i have to visit that company site (in my case it Homeshop 18) to make purchase.
P.S. if you are buying product from Junglee.com, then you are not actually buying it from Amazon.com but it will redirect you to some local vendor/ seller’s website.
Amazon India drawback this time
Main drawback of junglee.com (Amazon service in India) is they are not having universal shopping cart in it, which means you can’t purchase multiple product at a time which is going to be a negative point for Amazon and plus point for the other online marketing company like Flikcart and yebhi.com.
Hope Juglee will achieve same success in Indian market as Amazon is having in world. And for Indian online marketing companies get ready to face good competition by Amazon.
